While the audience has the pleasure of seeing how shy and gentle Harrow is, it’s just as important to remember that he is ruthless and coldblooded as well.

Though it could be argued that this is his codependent way of trying to draw back Jimmy, who is distant at the prospect of losing his father and (to Richard) in peril of slipping away into that fold and leaving him on the outside.
